AT THE AIRPORT

Chicago O'Hare Airport Shuttles, Taxis and Trains

Driving
On the I-190, take the exit for Mannheim North and travel about a quarter of a mile before arriving at Zemke Road. Signs for lots E and F will be on this road and a shuttle bus will take you to each terminal.

Shuttles
Coach USA Wisconsin offers an hourly service between O'Hare and Midway Airports from 8 am to 10pm. Passengers are advised to allow at least one hour for travel time between the airports. The pick-up location is at the Bus /Shuttle Center. Omega Airport Shuttle also offers an hourly service between O'Hare International and Midway Airports from 7 am to 11.45 pm and an hourly service between Hyde Park and the Airport from 5 am to 11.45pm.  Exact times and locations are available in printed schedules located in information booths at each airport or on the Omega website. The pick-up location is at door number four of the bus/shuttle center.

Continental Airport Express offers door-to-door service to and from Chicago O’Hare International and most city and suburban neighborhoods from 6 am to 11.30pm. Departures are about every five to ten minutes and the fare to the city is approximately $19. The pick-up location for this service is outside the baggage claim area of the lower level of the terminals.

Airport Transit System (ATS)
This is a free, 24 hour rail service that operates between all four terminals, the long-term parking, the METRA station and the PACE stop. The travel time is approximately nine minutes from Terminal One to Lot E.

Coaches and Shuttles
The Bus / Shuttle Center is on the ground level of the parking garage – this is the main pick-up area for regional buses, hotel courtesy buses, car rental companies and parking shuttles.

Regional  - Act II Transportation - (800) 769-8891 – offers services between Davenport, Iowa and both Chicago airports via Interstate 80.

Coach USA/Tri-State/United Limo – offers services to Crestwood, Highland, Gary, Merrillville, Portage, Michigan City, South Bend, Notre Dame, Mishawaki.

Coach USA / Van Galder - (800) 747-0994 – offers services to Rockford, Janesville, Madison and South Beloit

Coach USA / Wisconsin Coach Lines - (877)-3-AIRPORTS – provides services to different cities in Wisconsin.

Express Air Coach - (765) 743-3120 – offers a shuttle service between O’Hare and W. Lafayette and Indiana.

LEX Lincolnland Express - 217-352-6682 – offers services to Kankatee, University of Illinois Union, Mattoon-Charleston, Springfield, Decatur, Rantoul and LEX-hub Champaign.

PACE Bus – only available at the Kiss’n’Fly area (see parking)

Peoria Charter - (800) 448-0572 – offers services to Normal, Schaumburg, Joliet and Oakbrook.

Bike
Chicago ORD can be reached by bicycle via the Blue Line or the ATS. Bike lots are available at the ATS Terminal.

Taxis
Available on a first come, first serve basis, taxis from Chicago ORD Airport depart from the lower level curb of all five terminals. They are based on a meter system however rides to downtown Chicago are normaly priced at about $35.

Travel between O’Hare and Midway
Coach USA Wisconsin has an hourly service between the two airports and pick up from Chicago O’Hare is from the Bus / Shuttle Center with the journey taking about one hour.

The CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) has a service taking about two hours between the two airports. The Blue Line serves Chicago O’Hare Airport and the Orange Line serves Midway (ses below).

Blue Line
This offers a 24 hour transit service between Chicago ORD and the Forest Park terminal and leaves every ten to fifteen minutes from both stations.

It stops at O’Hare, Rosemont, Cumberland, Harlem, Jefferson Park, Montrose, Irving park, Addison, Belmont, Logan Square, California, Western, Damen, Division, Chicago, Grand, Clark/Lake, Washington, Monroe, Jackson, LaSalle, Clinton, UIC Halsted, Racine, Illinois Medical District, Western, Kedzie-Homan, Pulaski, Cicero, Austin, Oak Park, Harlem, Forest Park.

Buses
Buses 330 and 250 go to O’Hare transfer station with the following going to Rosemont (nearest train station to O’Hare) – 221, 223, 325, 326, 332, 606, 610, 616, 680
